Founded in 2001 by owner, Kelly Commander, Command Construction Industries started its first project in St. Bernard for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development on Patricia Street. Since then, Command has taken on projects large and small for public and private owners across Louisiana.
In 2010, CCI Safety was launched as a division of Command that specializes in traffic control device installation and rental and sales of traffic control products. In addition, CCI Safety has now installed hundreds of miles of guardrail across all of Louisiana, permanent overhead signs, and information system signage on the Louisiana’s interstate system.
Command Construction Industries is a woman-owned company that is DBE certified with Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, the City of New Orleans, the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board, and the New Orleans Aviation Board.
